An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Salazar in the 11th minute of play forced Desportiva da Vila's goalkeeper Juvenal Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almiro Baião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Juvenal Azeredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Salazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nicolas Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FRUTOLICOS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Salazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Azeredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desportiva da Vila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicolas Salazar 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Nicolas Salazar struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Juvenal Azeredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FRUTOLICOS SC. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desportiva da Vila's goalkeeper Juvenal Azeredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Almiro Baião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Juvenal Azeredo made a huge save. Hélder Vidigal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Juvenal Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Salazar in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gregório Quintas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Viana was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Almiro Baião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Juvenal Azeredo made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Humberto Estrela made the kick off in the second half. Desportiva da Vila's Juvenal Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Salazar in the 60th minute of play. Desportiva da Vila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
