Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuno Balsemão got the match started through his kick off. Honorato Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Dantas in the 13th minute of play. Joaquim Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Honorato Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexandre Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Dantas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Honorato Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Dantas in the 22nd minute of play. Joaquim Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Apolentina getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Germano Brochado hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Covais's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Balsemão came free, but Inácio Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Nascimento hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Silvério Perdigãos short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Inácio Resende to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alexandre Freitas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 36 played minutes SC Apolentina got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Faria. After recieving a nice pass, Covais's Carlos Valente tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. SC Apolentina's Nuno Balsemão got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Covais's Carlos Valente got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Silvério Perdigão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Apolentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Perdigão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Alexandre Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Honorato Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Freitas in the 56th minute of play. Nuno Balsemão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Inácio Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvério Perdigão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Covais got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Marques. In the 64th minute Alexandre Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Apolentina's Honorato Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save SC Apolentina from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Covais's goalkeeper Inácio Resende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Joaquim Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
