Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Paraíso FC's Eurico Maciel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eurico Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraíso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Tavares's late challenge caught a Paraíso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in SC Filhagosa's zone, Zarco Diegues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Leão came out of the goal and Zarco Diegues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zarco Diegues took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álvaro Leão. Álvaro Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Paraíso FC's goalkeeper Valentim Curado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Magalhães. Álvaro Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarco Diegues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zarco Diegues in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentim Curado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Paraíso FC's zone, Paulo Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentim Curado came out of the goal and Paulo Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Paulo Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Curado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. If Paulo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Leão having to interfere. Zarco Diegues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Álvaro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Leão having to interfere. If Eurico Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Moreira in the 71st minute of play forced Paraíso FC's goalkeeper Valentim Curado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentim Curado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Moreira in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Magalhães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentim Curado was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Paulo Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentim Curado having to interfere. If Paulo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Lamego charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avelino Lamego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Avelino Lamego kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paraíso FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
