Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar Amorim started the match with the kick off. João Cruz in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moisés Caneira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 8th minute Valdemar Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aldo Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Campos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar Amorim in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Campos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduardo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Zouparria booed when SC Mourlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Fraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zouparria's João Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moisés Caneira made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Cruz in the 25th minute. When Aldo Bento came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the SC Mourlinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Bento couldn't finish the play. Francisco Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Caneira having to interfere. If Francisco Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moisés Caneira made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Cruz in the 48th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Marco Correia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Zouparria's Marco Correia got a free kick in the 59th minute. Salvador Ferro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Campos. Zouparria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Amado Maltez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Mourlinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Maltez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Amorim in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, João Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moisés Caneira. SC Mourlinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. João Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zouparria's João Cruz suffered a sprained foot after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 79 minutes, Salvador Ferro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Mourlinho and the Zouparria players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Mourlinho! In the 81st minute, Gil Assis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés Caneira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 85 played minutes Zouparria got a freekick which was hit by Rui Araújo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Amorim in the 91st minute of play forced Zouparria's goalkeeper Miguel Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Zouparria getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rui Araújo hit a great ball. Aldo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valdemar Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zouparria fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Mourlinho had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
