Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Pires started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Patacao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Machado to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Óscar Mendes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Patacao FC's Dário Malheiro didn't even have to move. Nicolau Bragança kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 7thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Verim's keeper Alexandre Amaro was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Alexandre Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éder Cortez in the 12th minute of play. Éder Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of SC Verim:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patacao FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Paulo Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Verim's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Malheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dário Malheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Fontes in the 25th minute of play. Patacao FC's Dário Malheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Pires in the 26th minute of play. Idalécio Benevides kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Alexandre Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Cortez in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Éder Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patacao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Éder Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Éder Cortez made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nicolau Bragança got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Patacao FC booed when SC Verim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolau Bragança fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Amaro having to interfere. If Éder Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Cortez in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Afonso Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Verim's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonso Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dário Malheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Cabral struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dário Malheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Verim. After a defensive mix-up in Patacao FC's zone, Paulo Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Malheiro came out of the goal and Paulo Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Afonso Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Malheiro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SC Verim's Miguel Barros got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Verim's goalkeeper Alexandre Amaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Paulo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolau Bragança fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Amaro having to interfere. After 91 played minutes SC Verim got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Coimbra. If Nicolau Bragança had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Éder Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alexandre Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
