Hélder Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Campos in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Amílcar Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Charnequinha getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gabriel Azevedo hit a great ball. Vítor Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Meireles having to interfere. If Vítor Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sousa team's zone, Sandro Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Meireles came out of the goal and Sandro Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Charnequinha booed when SC Sousa team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a long run with the ball, Gaspar Moniz did a trick in the 73rd minute in front of SC Sousa team's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. Charnequinha's Francisco Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Couto in the 84th minute of play. SC Sousa team's Hélder Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sousa team from getting a goal against them.
