Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Artur Torres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerónimo Gameiro during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerónimo Gameiro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SCBraga's zone, Vítor Coimbra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Morais came out of the goal and Vítor Coimbra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Charnequinha's Vítor Coimbra fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Severiano Vital got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandro Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerónimo Gameiro kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Vítor Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charnequinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Coimbra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Vítor Coimbra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Salvador Morais, passed just outside the right post. Vítor Coimbra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salvador Morais came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Coimbra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Vítor Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Morais having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Charnequinha's Sandro Campos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salvador Morais was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vítor Coimbra made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SCBraga defense, Sandro Campos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Morais. The SCBraga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Morais should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Severiano Vital kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Correia. That made the score 3-1 in the 58 minute of play. Micael Graça hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Sandro Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Severiano Vital got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Charnequinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Artur Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 91 played minutes Artur Torres rounded Charnequinha's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Charnequinha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
