Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Basílio Ferro kicked off to start the match. Francisco Correia came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomariz's Tomás Vale. But to his dismay, Tomás Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Tomás Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tomás Vale came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Gomariz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Vale couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gomariz booed when Charnequinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavier Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Gomariz getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luís Vieira hit a great ball. If Sandro Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Charnequinha's Vítor Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tomás Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Fontes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Francisco Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Ferro in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Gaspar Moniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Vítor Coimbra made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gomariz's Basílio Ferro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Leal during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Afonso Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vítor Coimbra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sandro Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Gomariz's Tomás Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Vale got free with Francisco Correia in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Charnequinha's Gaspar Moniz tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Tomás Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Sandro Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Francisco Correia made a huge save. Tomás Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Francisco Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Charnequinha's Armando Fontes got a free kick in the 90th minute. Francisco Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Basílio Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Correia having to interfere. Gomariz played a much better game than Charnequinha and deserved their victory. The Charnequinha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
