João Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Rocha in the 3rd minute of the match. If Ricardo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Lourenço Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. João Henriques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ricardo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Ricardo Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Vaz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ganfei FC's Miguel Aleixo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ganfei FC's Óscar Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Mota in the 19th minute of play. Ricardo Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Óscar Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Óscar Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Mota in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Fábio Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Orbacem booed when Ganfei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Afonso Lopes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Óscar Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Mota was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ganfei FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Torres came free, but Óscar Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Aleixo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Ganfei FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Óscar Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SC Orbacem's Ricardo Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ganfei FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Orbacem for a fine match.
