Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Inácio Melo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Pedro Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Sandro Matos fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medados FC's protests and gave Sandro Matos a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Medados FC! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Semitela's Vítor Sousa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cláudio Pires. Cláudio Pires made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Diogo Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. Medados FC's Cláudio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 14th minute of play. Joaquim Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Manuel Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pacheco having to interfere. The supporters of Medados FC booed when Semitela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Semitela's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Leão came free, but Pedro Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Melo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Pacheco saved Semitela from getting behind. Carlos Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diogo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes, Vasco Garcia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medados FC and the Semitela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Medados FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Garcia. Medados FC's Cláudio Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Aguiar in the 44th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Semitela's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Leão came free, but Pedro Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Aguiar made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Semitela were awarded a corner. Vítor Sousa went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Eduardo Brás heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Semitela's Carlos Aguiar got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedro Pacheco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Leão in the 58th minute. Inácio Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Pacheco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Diogo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Pires having to interfere. Eduardo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Inácio Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Pacheco having to interfere. Pedro Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Inácio Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
