But to his dismay, Dimas Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Isidoro Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Américo Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pesinho's protests and gave Américo Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pesinho getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Américo Cunha hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Alexandrino Bettencourt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pesinho's Gustavo Antunes didn't even have to move. Pesinho's Gustavo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Galvão in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Jorge Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandrino Bettencourt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Emílio Gois hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Mário Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Miranda in the 39th minute of play forced BobaMaica Team's goalkeeper Isidoro Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, BobaMaica Team's goalkeeper Isidoro Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Branco. If Américo Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, BobaMaica Team's Alexandre Sampaio got a free kick in the 45th minute. Mário Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Isidoro Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesinho. The Pesinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BobaMaica Team were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipe Miranda was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, BobaMaica Team's Josué Durães made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pesinho's Gustavo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Galvão in the 56th minute of play. Gustavo Antunes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Josué Durães sent off a good shot on target. Pesinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Dimas Galvão scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Antunes, making the score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, BobaMaica Team's Alexandrino Bettencourt got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Lúcio Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Durães got free with Gustavo Antunes in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
