In the 7th minute, José Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Leandro Team's goalkeeper Nélson Sobral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Miranda. Nélson Sobral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Inácio Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nélson Sobral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Artur Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nélson Sobral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Artur Abreu rounded Leandro Team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With his leg Nélson Sobral managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Comporta's Inácio Miranda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Artur Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Artur Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Miranda got free with Nélson Sobral in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Leandro Team's zone, Inácio Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nélson Sobral came out of the goal and Inácio Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes Leandro Team got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Belo. Nélson Sobral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Abreu in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes in the game, Leonardo Vargas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Daniel Machado having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Inácio Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nélson Sobral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute, Leonardo Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inácio Garcia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Catarino Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Daniel Machado made a huge save.
