Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alcino Brites took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Novais during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, one of SC Fanhais:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Ervidel FC. Lucílio Pedroso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Medeiros. 0-1. Alcino Brites received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesualdo Barata kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hugo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcino Brites in the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Delfim Calado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervidel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Fanhais the free kick. In the 18th minute, Delfim Calado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Hipólito Vides managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when SC Fanhais's Lúcio Cerqueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 minutes, Alcino Brites mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ervidel FC and the SC Fanhais players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alcino Brites kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th of the match, João Póvoas tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hipólito Vides got in the way and made a wonderful save. Hugo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alcino Brites, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Póvoas made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, SC Fanhais's goal looked a bit too open when Alcino Brites came free, but Hugo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Bragança's late challenge caught a Ervidel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Bragança helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Angelo Bragança hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, SC Fanhais's Veríssimo Carvalho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Veríssimo Carvalho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Fanhais protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Veríssimo Carvalho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of SC Fanhais:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ervidel FC:s goal. In the 70th match minute, Ervidel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Taveira to maneuver through the defense. Ervidel FC's Hipólito Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Cerqueira in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ervidel FC's Daniel Borges got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hugo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcino Brites in the 75th minute of the match. Hugo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lucas Borba sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lucas Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ervidel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Borba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Alcino Brites recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Medeiros. Alcino Brites showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ervidel FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
