Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Cunha started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Carocha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Dantas came free, but Celso Perdigão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Barroso came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquim Rodrigues could save by the left post. Luís Malafaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Joaquim Rodrigues managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Carocha FC's Albertino Barroso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Filipe Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Alfredo Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Perdigão. Carocha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joaquim Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Malafaia in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, André Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Albertino Barroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Borges hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Albertino Barroso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 41st minute, Matias Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Carocha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Borges came free, but Celso Perdigão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Joaquim Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertino Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Mouril's Joaquim Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Malafaia in the 55th minute of play. Alfredo Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Perdigão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Perdigão was a little too slow when Alfredo Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-2. Filipe Dantas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celso Perdigão firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67th minute Alfredo Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Perdigão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filipe Dantas got free with Celso Perdigão in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervásio Godinho hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute of the match Daniel Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Perdigão skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th minute, Zeferino Junqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Mouril's Daniel Soares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Celso Perdigão in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristóvão Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luís Malafaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Rodrigues was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Joaquim Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The SC Mouril players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
