Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paulo Pedroso got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Óscar Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitória FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Arruda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Neves made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Óscar Arruda sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Óscar Arruda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavier Neves. Pepe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Óscar Arruda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 27 played minutes Vitória FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Arruda. Vitória FC's Torcato Modesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pedroso in the 35th minute of play. Óscar Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Neves having to interfere. With a little luck, Pepe FC's Xavier Neves got control of the ball when Óscar Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Vitória FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Bragança to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Rogério Soeiro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Arruda in the 54th minute of play forced Pepe FC's goalkeeper Xavier Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pepe FC's Xavier Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Óscar Arruda in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rogério Soeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavier Neves was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Xavier Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitória FC's Rogério Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Óscar Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pepe FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Paulo Pedroso hit a great ball. If Óscar Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pepe FC's Xavier Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Soeiro in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Óscar Arruda in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rogério Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitória FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pepe FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
