Boucoais FC's Mariano Baptista shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alexandrino Reis but with some difficulty. Durval Albuquerque took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Pereira. Boucoais FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Boucoais FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fernando Esteves hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Manuel Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedro Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandrino Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Dias in the 29th minute of the match. When Manuel Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the No Name Boys FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Pinto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Manso during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, No Name Boys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Manso to maneuver through the defense. Boucoais FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after No Name Boys FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Paiva took the corner. Boucoais FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Dias made a kick off. In the 76thth minute of the game Duarte Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Name Boys FC's Alexandrino Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No Name Boys FC's Alexandrino Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Cunha in the 83rd minute of play. Alexandrino Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Dias in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Cunha in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandrino Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Boucoais FC booed when No Name Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belchior Cerqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Duarte Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Boucoais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Cunha couldn't finish the play.
