Ricardo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pavia's zone, Ricardo Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Neto came out of the goal and Ricardo Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes, Nicolas Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC MAFARRICOS and the SC Pavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC MAFARRICOS's Nicolas Ferreira got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Valentim Infante fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pavia's protests and gave Valentim Infante a yellow card for diving instead. SC Pavia's Valentim Infante got his second yellow card of the match in the 20th minute. The referee ordered Valentim Infante off the ground. In the 21st match minute, SC Pavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentim Infante to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Guerreiro having to interfere. After 31 played minutes SC Pavia got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Cardoso. If Tobias Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Neto having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Pavia's goalkeeper Salvador Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 38 played minutes SC Pavia got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Cardoso. Ricardo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Silvestre Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tobias Paião made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Ricardo Marques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tobias Paião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Salvador Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Paião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Tobias Paião lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Salvador Neto. After 85th play minutes Ricardo Marques shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Salvador Neto and just under the crossbar into goal. If Tobias Paião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Marques got free with Salvador Neto in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Marquess short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Salvador Neto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The SC Pavia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC MAFARRICOS's performance. The match ended with a win for SC MAFARRICOS.
