The referee ignored Rorigo's protests and gave Joaquim Lisboa a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Rorigo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 38th minute, Gaspar Viana made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Guerreiro. SC MAFARRICOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Tobias Paião made the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Carlos Guerreiro made a huge save. Catarino Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Paião in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Joaquim Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Catarino Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Tobias Paião made a precise shot to the right of Catarino Pires. Rorigo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Carlos Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cruz in the 77th minute of play. Carlos Guerreiro was a little too slow when Manuel Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-5. The supporters of SC MAFARRICOS booed when Rorigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC MAFARRICOS's Carlos Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save SC MAFARRICOS from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Rorigo's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Marques came free, but Catarino Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Paião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rorigo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
