Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) EZLN's Vasco Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. EZLN's Rui Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Saldanha in the 14th minute of play. Óscar Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in EZLN's zone, Eurico Serpa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Teixeira came out of the goal and Eurico Serpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Saldanha in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Heitor Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EZLN's Rui Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eurico Serpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. In the 35th minute Heitor Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EZLN's Rui Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Serpa in the 36th minute of play. After 46 played minutes EZLN got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Castro. Amadeu Paredes's late challenge caught a Rompecilha UFP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes EZLN got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Paredes. A hard shot 64 in the game by Eurico Serpa from a close distance when the talented Rui Teixeira managed to make a qualified save. EZLN's players were relieved. Rui Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, EZLN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Castro to maneuver through the defense. EZLN's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Heitor Saldanha 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The EZLN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rompecilha UFP's performance. The match ended with a win for Rompecilha UFP.
