Humberto Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lourenço Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Márcio Velasques showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 13 minute of play. Lourenço Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Moniz in the 17th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game David Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Buarcos's Humberto Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomé Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Tortomil FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Moniz. After a defensive mix-up in Tortomil FC's zone, Tomé Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Monteiro came out of the goal and Tomé Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Armindo Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Fonseca. SC Buarcos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armindo Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. SC Buarcos's Humberto Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Ferro in the 44th minute of play. José Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

José Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ferro in the 61st minute of play forced SC Buarcos's goalkeeper Humberto Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Humberto Fonseca made a huge save. Humberto Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Lima in the 80th minute. When José Lima came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tortomil FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 93rd minute of the match, David Ferro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Humberto Fonseca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 97 minutes into the match, José Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Fonseca.
