Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saúl Sampaio kicked off to start the match. If Oliveira Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliveira Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Mariano Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Soares in the 11th minute of play forced Borda FC's goalkeeper Mariano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes Borda FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cláudio Veiga who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Joel Pinto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Jorge Soares came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Pomeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Soares couldn't finish the play. Hélio Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Borda FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hélio Garcia hit a great ball. Pomeda's Jorge Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pomeda's Alberto Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Sampaio in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Saúl Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play Borda FC's Hélio Garcia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 34 played minutes Borda FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Garcia. Oliveira Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mariano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Romão Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pomeda's Alberto Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Faria in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliveira Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliveira Fonseca in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Esteves saved Borda FC from getting behind. Borda FC's Mariano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Soares in the 58th minute of play. Pomeda's Alberto Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pomeda from getting a goal against them. Romão Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Cláudio Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borda FC's Romão Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pomeda booed when Borda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romão Faria came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Borda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romão Faria couldn't finish the play. Oliveira Fonseca took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Esteves. Mariano Esteves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jorge Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mariano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Esteves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romão Faria in the 95th minute. Pomeda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
