Emílio Balsemão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Higino Trindade made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Serra Das Mimas's Romão Lameiras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Balsemão got free with Higino Trindade in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Serra Das Mimas's Romão Lameiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higino Trindade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higino Trindade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SC Rebordosa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Serra Das Mimas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
