Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Neves started the match with the kick off. Cassoaria's Pedro Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Capeludos FC's Gentil Bulhosa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albertino Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Capeludos FC booed when Cassoaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Capeludos FC's Sandro Gueifão in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cassoaria's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cassoaria getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Albertino Leite hit a great ball. Gentil Bulhosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Soares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gentil Bulhosa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute Pedro Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Domingos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Capeludos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Neves came free, but Lourenço Domingos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gentil Bulhosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Soares having to interfere.

The wind increased when Gentil Bulhosa made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gentil Bulhosa in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Gervásio Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomás Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Pedro Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Domingos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capeludos FC's Lourenço Domingos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Anjos in the 65th minute of play. Paulo Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Gueifão in the 68th minute. During the 72nd minute of the match Albertino Leite completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albertino Leite a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Gueifão got free with Paulo Soares in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cassoaria's Paulo Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Cassoaria from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, Cassoaria's Pedro Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lourenço Domingos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Bulhosa in the 97th minute of the match.
