Tomás Câmara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Afonso Gueifão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute Fernando Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Brandão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosmaninhal's Fernando Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Moisés Brandão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Figueiredo in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé Maltez got free with Afonso Gueifão in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 94 minutes, Fernando Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosmaninhal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Balugaes FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Rosmaninhal from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
