Cláudio Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Cesário having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Hélder Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tesido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosmaninhal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tesido's Hélder Silva got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tesido's Isidoro Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Cláudio Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tesido's Óscar Cesário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Figueiredo in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Tesido booed when Rosmaninhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosmaninhal's Fernando Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosmaninhal's Cláudio Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Rosmaninhal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Guerra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio Lima to make the kick off. Afonso Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Couto in the 59th minute of the match. Óscar Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Afonso Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rosmaninhal's zone, Lázaro Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Gueifão came out of the goal and Lázaro Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Cláudio Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Cesário saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Lázaro Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosmaninhal's Afonso Gueifão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Cláudio Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Cesário. The goal made the score 0-1. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tesido! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Rosmaninhal's Lúcio Santos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Óscar Cesário. Óscar Cesário was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Amílcar Pereira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amílcar Pereira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rosmaninhal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
