Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomás Câmara took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Isidoro Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balugaes FC's goalkeeper Moisés Brandão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moisés Brandão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Hélder Silva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Balugaes FC's Moisés Brandão. Moisés Brandão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Guerra took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Brandão. Moisés Brandão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Moisés Brandão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Guerra in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Balugaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Veríssimo. If Isidoro Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 played minutes, Tesido's Torcato Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moisés Brandão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tesido reached it. Sabino Rodrigues was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, one of Balugaes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balugaes FC. Tomé Maltez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Óscar Cesário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Brandão having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Couto was the one to do the kick off. If Lázaro Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moisés Brandão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Quinaz went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Diogo Quinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Brandão having to make a save. Isidoro Guerra struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Moisés Brandão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tesido. In the 76th match minute, Balugaes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudemiro Mourão to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Brandão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodrigo Moura. Thanks to some nice moves Isidoro Guerra could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Moisés Brandão however easily saved by the left post. Tomé Maltez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Cesário having to interfere. Valter Lessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Óscar Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Maltez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tesido walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
