After 12 played minutes, Leiroz FC's Higino Ferreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donato Valente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leiroz FC reached it. Donato Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Póvoas in the 17th minute of play. Ivan Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Varanda having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leiroz FC's Valter Freitas got a free kick in the 29th minute. Angélico Horta was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donato Valente made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alfredo Lobo sent off a good shot on target. Joaquim Póvoas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Valente having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Braga Corporação's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Póvoas came free, but Donato Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Póvoas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Hermínio Marques's late challenge caught a Leiroz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Marques helped the player get up and apologised. Hermínio Marques hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Donato Valente made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alfredo Lobo sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Silveira in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Alfredo Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Póvoas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Valente was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. When Enzo Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Braga Corporação fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Silveira couldn't finish the play. After having played for 76 minutes, Hermínio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braga Corporação's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermínio Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Enzo Silveira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Varanda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Adão Sardinha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adão Sardinha hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Silveira in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Varanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Varanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Silveira in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Enzo Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Albertino Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes Braga Corporação got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Marques. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
