Eduardo Morais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Almeida's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Cristóvão Jesus's late challenge caught a Pocarica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Jesus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Canedo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristóvão Jesus hit a great ball. Eduardo Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Morais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Vaz went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristóvão Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Alexandre Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Isidoro Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudemiro Liberato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Figueiredo having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Pocarica's Isidoro Pimenta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 39 minutes into the match, Canedo's Alexandre Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Vaz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Canedo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudemiro Liberato fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Pimenta in the 55th minute of play. Alexandre Figueiredo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Pocarica's Isidoro Pimenta. But to his dismay, Isidoro Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Claudemiro Liberato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Canedo's Alexandre Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Pimenta in the 71st minute of play. Isidoro Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Figueiredo having to interfere. When Ricardo Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canedo's protests and gave Ricardo Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. Pocarica's Isidoro Pimenta suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alexandre Vaz's late challenge caught a Pocarica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Canedo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pocarica a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcos Pinhal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canedo's Alexandre Figueiredo. 3-1. After 93 minutes of play, Pocarica's Claudemiro Liberato made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Figueiredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the match, Ademar Rijo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Canedo's Alexandre Figueiredo. Alexandre Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pocarica had won after a very even match.
