Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Branco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Boassas's José Amorim got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Oliveira during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrique Oliveira hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, José Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a defensive mix-up in Boassas's zone, Jerónimo Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Cardoso came out of the goal and Jerónimo Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boassas's José Amorim got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered José Amorim off the ground. Jordão Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordão Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Cambeia got a freekick which was hit by Jordão Amaro. Adão Miguéis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Boassas's Alexandre Marques shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Tomás Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerónimo Vidal in the 25th minute. Jerónimo Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Cardoso having to interfere. Adão Miguéis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélder Matias's late challenge caught a Cambeia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Matias helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandre Marques scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adão Miguéis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egídio Vieira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrique Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adão Miguéis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Cambeia's Jordão Amaro got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Jordão Amaro off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Alexandre Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 68 minutes, Alexandre Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boassas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre Marques struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Adão Miguéis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boassas. In the 73rd match minute, Cambeia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Taborda to maneuver through the defense. Adão Miguéis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Marques in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Cambeia's goalkeeper Adão Miguéis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Marques. Adão Miguéis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Oliveira in the 83rd minute. Alexandre Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Magalhães hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boassas's zone, Gil Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Cardoso came out of the goal and Gil Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Boassas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cambeia throughout the match.
