Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Branco kicked off to start the match. Henrique Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Damião Parente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Branco in the 5th minute of play. Damião Parente didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Alexandre Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Damião Parente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boassas's attack was well implemented in the 15th minute, but when Afonso Branco was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Alexandre Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Cristiano Trindade notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Boassas's Tomás Cardoso. Tomás Cardoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damião Parente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Branco in the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Amorim during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Boassas's José Amorim got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Atilho FC were awarded a corner. Fernando Gois went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Atilho FC's Fernando Gois to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomás Cardoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomás Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Trindade to make the kick off. Henrique Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damião Parente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristiano Trindade struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Tomás Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atilho FC. Boassas's Afonso Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Afonso Branco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Atilho FC's Damião Parente. Damião Parente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Vítor Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atilho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Raposo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 83 played minutes, Boassas's Carlos Magalhães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damião Parente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boassas reached it. When Afonso Branco came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Boassas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Branco couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Boassas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atilho FC:s goal. The referee gave Atilho FC a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Gois, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boassas's Tomás Cardoso. 2-2. Juvenal Torcato's late challenge caught a Boassas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Torcato helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
