Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quintino Pestana started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Caetano in the 8th minute of play forced Apiao FC's goalkeeper Torcato Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Tinoco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Camacho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 15 minutes, Quintino Pestana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apiao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintino Pestana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, Apiao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Ramires to maneuver through the defense. When Adérito Franco fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Besteirinhos's protests and gave Adérito Franco a yellow card for diving instead. Adérito Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, SC Besteirinhos's Laureano Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torcato Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to SC Besteirinhos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lúcio Caetano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Apiao FC's Valério Caetano got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lúcio Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Montenegro having to interfere. When Adelino Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Apiao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Laureano Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Torcato Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, SC Besteirinhos's Jorge Camacho got control of the ball when Adelino Tinoco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Germano Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apiao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Besteirinhos the free kick. Germano Rios hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gil Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lúcio Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Caetano was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Apiao FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laureano Cordeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yuri Ramires kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Apiao FC's Torcato Montenegro got control of the ball when Laureano Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adelino Tinoco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Camacho having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Póvoas during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Leandro Póvoas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Apiao FC's Nélson Lobo tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Besteirinhos's Leandro Póvoas got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Adelino Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Quintino Pestana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintino Pestana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Camacho having to interfere. Yuri Ramires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Camacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Adelino Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quintino Pestana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes, Apiao FC's Nélson Lobo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Camacho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apiao FC reached it. Quintino Pestana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
