The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lúcio Caetano was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Alberto Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 85th match minute, Ribeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Porto to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Camacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Rodrigues in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Besteirinhos's Nuno Araújo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Ribeiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
