Canelas 2010's Sandro Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Garcez in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Valter Mesquita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Passos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes, Pereiras's Valter Mesquita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandro Passos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pereiras reached it. Sandro Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avelino Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Valter Mesquita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandro Passos skillfully saved the ball. Eurico Veiga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Sandro Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Malta in the 24th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Lisandro Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lisandro Malta made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Avelino Garcez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Avelino Garcez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Canelas 2010's goalkeeper Sandro Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avelino Garcez. Lisandro Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sandro Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avelino Garcez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Sandro Passos made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Lisandro Malta took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sandro Passos to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gaspar Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelas 2010's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Fontoura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Gaspar Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
