After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Jorge Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. MC Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Pessoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, MC Team's Jorge Lisboa got control of the ball when Teodoro Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Murilo Pessoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes MC Team got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Leite. Murilo Pessoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Valverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Leite in the 30th minute of play forced Mouronho's goalkeeper Murilo Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedito Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Benedito Guerra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. Álvaro Alves didn't quite understand what happened when in the 41 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jorge Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Valverde in the 68th minute of play. Nuno Valverde might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Lisboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match was over MC Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mouronho throughout the match.
