Sálvio Prates ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Anjoss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Joel Malafaia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 17 minutes, Gonçalo Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canados FC and the Carnapete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Canados FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Queirós. If Rui Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sálvio Prates in the 23rd minute of play forced Canados FC's goalkeeper Afonso Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Joel Malafaia made a huge save. 28 minutes in the game, Simão Domingues dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marco Anjos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Joel Malafaia made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Canados FC's Simão Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Malafaia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Malafaia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Marco Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Malafaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Carnapete FC's Joel Malafaia got control of the ball when Marco Anjos tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simão Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Joel Malafaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simão Domingues in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Malafaia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rui Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Sálvio Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnapete FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sálvio Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joaquim Maia fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canados FC's protests and gave Joaquim Maia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Carnapete FC booed when Canados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Carvalheira, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Canados FC's Joaquim Maia got his second yellow card of the match in the 65th minute. Afonso Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sálvio Prates, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Carnapete FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
