The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, SC Cadaixo's Afonso Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timóteo Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match Cláudio Leão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timóteo Almeida skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st minute Vítor Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timóteo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timóteo Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Trindade in the 25th minute of play. Nuno Eanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Xavier Jesus made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, SC Cadaixo's goalkeeper Xavier Jesus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Eanes. 32 minutes into the match, Mariano Silveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xavier Jesus, 1-0. The referee ignored SC Cadaixo's protests and gave Vítor Anjos a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. SC Cadaixo's Xavier Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Eanes in the 98th minute of play.
