Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Coimbra started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Mytrecos FC's Ricardo Henriques got control of the ball when Carlos Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Engarnal's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Mendes came free, but Alexandre Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Nuno Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Carlos Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Mytrecos FC's Ricardo Henriques got control of the ball when Carlos Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Álvaro Mendes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Engarnal's Alexandre Setúbal. After 33 played minutes, Mytrecos FC's Eusébio Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alexandre Setúbal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mytrecos FC reached it. Alexandre Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Antunes in the 34th minute of play. Álvaro Mendes scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexandre Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ricardo Henriques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Engarnal lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
