Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliseu Curado made the kick off which started today's match. Hermínio Lustosa hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Luís Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SC Ceira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Nascimento couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, SC Ceira's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Curado came free, but Filipe Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcides Ventura, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Curado in the 11th minute of play forced SC Ceira's goalkeeper Filipe Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Bruno Pegado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Eliseu Curado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Herberto Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Dias came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Picarral's Eliseu Curado. But to his dismay, Eliseu Curado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filipe Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gastão Rangel in the 30th minute of play. Filipe Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Curado in the 33rd minute of the match. André Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes in the game, Afonso Melo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 39 played minutes SC Ceira got a freekick which was hit by André Maia. The supporters of SC Ceira booed when SC Picarral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Ceira players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Picarral were winning 0-1.

Gastão Rangel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Afonso Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Santana having to interfere. Filipe Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Curado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Picarral's goalkeeper Herberto Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Eliseu Curado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Trindade was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, one of SC Ceira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Ceira. After some careless play in the SC Picarral defense, André Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herberto Santana. The SC Picarral fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herberto Santana should have stopped the shot. Afonso Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Santana having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Eliseu Curado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filipe Dias. The goal made the score 1-2.
