Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Ceira's Luís Nascimento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Paulo Amaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 10 minutes into the game, Ilídio Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gende FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ceira the free kick. The supporters of SC Ceira booed when Gende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilídio Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Gende FC's goalkeeper Bongbong Bongubung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Delgado. Paulo Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bongbong Bongubung having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Taborda in the 22nd minute of play forced SC Ceira's goalkeeper Filipe Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Taborda took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Dias. Filipe Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gende FC's zone, Paulo Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bongbong Bongubung came out of the goal and Paulo Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Raposo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Dias. Filipe Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, SC Ceira's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Mourão came free, but Filipe Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Raposo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eduardo Taborda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gende FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Taborda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Raposo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eduardo Taborda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Maia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gende FC booed when SC Ceira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute of the game Dário Monsanto made a throw-in which Ilídio Caetano played forward. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gende FC's goalkeeper Bongbong Bongubung, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Ceira's Filipe Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Raposo in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, SC Ceira's goalkeeper Filipe Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Taborda. In the 71st minute, Ilídio Caetano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filipe Dias. The goal made the score 0-3. Luís Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bongbong Bongubung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Raposo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Filipe Dias came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gende FC's Eduardo Taborda. But to his dismay, Eduardo Taborda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Filipe Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilídio Caetano in the 87th minute. The supporters of SC Ceira booed when Gende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilídio Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SC Ceira manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gende FC to win.
