Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eliseu Curado started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Picarral's Gastão Rangel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nuno Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Santana having to interfere. Hermínio Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Filipe Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Miranda hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Herberto Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Freitas went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Domingos Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herberto Santana having to interfere. Herberto Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Freitas in the 26th minute of play. When Meijoadela's Domingos Fernandes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Picarral's goalie prevented a goal. SC Picarral's Hermínio Lustosa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Nuno Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Domingos Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Picarral's Herberto Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Freitas in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, SC Picarral's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Freitas came free, but Herberto Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Machado's late challenge caught a SC Picarral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasco Machado helped the player get up and apologised. 50 minutes in the game Bruno Pegado after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Filipe Machado. A very good opportunity. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hermínio Lustosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Picarral's supporters rose to their feet, but Hermínio Lustosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Curado in the 57th minute of the match. SC Picarral's Eliseu Curado got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseu Curado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Machado having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Herberto Santana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Gastão Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Picarral's zone, Domingos Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herberto Santana came out of the goal and Domingos Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herberto Santana came out and tried to block the shot, but Domingos Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the match, SC Picarral's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Miranda came free, but Herberto Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Bezerra charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Bezerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, SC Picarral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Herberto Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Meijoadela played a much better game than SC Picarral and deserved their victory. The SC Picarral players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
