Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Louriceira's Afonso Maia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SC Louriceira's Afonso Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Louriceira's zone, Pedro Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Santos came out of the goal and Pedro Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Louriceira's Amadeu Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Campos in the 11th minute of play. Amadeu Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Campos went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Inácio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Amadeu Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Almeida hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Afonso Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eusébio Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Pedro Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Goais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Louriceira's Amadeu Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Baptista in the 33rd minute of play. Sebastião Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes SC Louriceira got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Andrade. Amadeu Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Campos in the 45th minute of play. Amadeu Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Campos's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Campos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Mendes took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Santos. Amadeu Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 56th minute, Afonso Maia made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Guerreiro. SC Goais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 64 played minutes SC Goais got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Domingues. In the 66th match minute, SC Goais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Guerreiro having to interfere. A collision led to SC Louriceira getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Afonso Maia hit a great ball. In the 76th minute Pedro Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Afonso Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Guerreiro. SC Goais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
