DEUSES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lubagueira the free kick. In the 6th match minute, DEUSES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Raul Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lubagueira's Raul Fonseca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eusébio Barbosa but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the game, Carlos Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEUSES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lubagueira the free kick. Carlos Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. DEUSES FC's Eusébio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Moreira in the 22nd minute of play. Tomás Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alberto Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DEUSES FC's Sérgio Pinto got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, DEUSES FC's Sérgio Pinto got a free kick in the 28th minute. Eusébio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Miranda in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, DEUSES FC's Eusébio Barbosa got control of the ball when Tiago Guarda tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Moreira in the 34th minute of play forced DEUSES FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Lubagueira's Eusébio Barbosa threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bento Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gil Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, Lubagueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Vale to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Azevedo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jacinto Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Eusébio Barbosa. DEUSES FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alberto Moreira sped through DEUSES FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusébio Barbosa. Tomás Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alberto Ramos made a huge save. Sérgio Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, DEUSES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Moreira came free, but Eusébio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DEUSES FC's Tomás Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th match minute, DEUSES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Pionek to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Guarda in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DEUSES FC's Eusébio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Guarda in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Bento Miranda notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of DEUSES FC's Eusébio Barbosa. Eusébio Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Azevedo in the 90th minute. Tomás Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute Tiago Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lubagueira had won after a very even match.
