Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Moreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Edgar Sá came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Rio Tinto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Sá couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes in the game, Edgar Sá fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alberto Ramos having to interfere. When Jacinto Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lubagueira's protests and gave Jacinto Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Rio Tinto FC's Manuel Infante ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Ramos. Alberto Ramos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Raul Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio Tinto FC's Virgílio Regueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Moreira in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Moreira in the 21st minute of play forced Rio Tinto FC's goalkeeper Virgílio Regueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Lubagueira's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Velasques came free, but Alberto Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lubagueira's Alberto Ramos got control of the ball when Edgar Sá tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Bento Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Virgílio Regueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Sá got free with Alberto Ramos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Rio Tinto FC's Isidoro Velasques dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Edgar Sás short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Alberto Ramos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberto Ramos made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Edgar Sá sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd match minute, Lubagueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Moura to maneuver through the defense. When Rio Tinto FC's Edgar Sá in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lubagueira's goalie prevented a goal. Virgílio Regueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Miranda in the 45th minute of play. Rio Tinto FC's Virgílio Regueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Moreira in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Sá made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Sá in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Ramos saved Lubagueira from getting behind. Manuel Infante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Alberto Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edgar Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Velasques, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Lubagueira getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jacinto Andrade hit a great ball. Alberto Ramos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Tinto FC's Edgar Sá. But to his dismay, Edgar Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bento Pimenta during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Bento Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes, Lubagueira's Bento Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgílio Regueira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lubagueira reached it. Manuel Infante kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Virgílio Regueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Moreira in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Moreira in the 77th minute of play forced Rio Tinto FC's goalkeeper Virgílio Regueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Isidoro Velasques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Alberto Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lubagueira's Alberto Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Sá in the 85th minute of play. After 85 played minutes Rio Tinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Guterres. Edgar Sá scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Alberto Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Regueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Rio Tinto FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
