Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Santiago made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, J81's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Amaral came free, but Hipólito Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Gago kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Alexandre Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Miguel Brás tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vermelho FC's Miguel Brás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Santiago in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Cássio Lemos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Lemos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catarino Moutinho's late challenge caught a J81's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Catarino Moutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Vermelho FC got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Moutinho. With a little luck, Vermelho FC's Miguel Brás got control of the ball when Cássio Lemos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Brás having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Vermelho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vermelho FC's zone, Alexandre Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Brás came out of the goal and Alexandre Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cássio Lemos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rogério Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vermelho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipólito Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Vaz charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Vaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vermelho FC's Alexandre Vaz got a free kick in the 47th minute. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vermelho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristiano Ferro was slow to take the kick. During this time J81's players had a chance to rest. J81's Cristiano Ferro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Brás in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. António Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Amaral in the 70th minute of play forced J81's goalkeeper Hipólito Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, J81's goalkeeper Hipólito Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Fernandes. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Artur Amaral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. J81's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Joel Miranda scored to the left of an out of position Hipólito Arruda, making the score, 0-1. The supporters of Vermelho FC booed when J81 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. J81's Hipólito Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Amaral in the 87th minute of play. Cássio Lemos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Miguel Brás didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for J81. In the 90th minute Alexandre Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogério Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hipólito Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipólito Arruda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The J81 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vermelho FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Vermelho FC.
