If Gualter Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Leitão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarco Castro in the 7th minute. Zarco Castro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Cristiano Leitão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Carvalhais in the 15th minute of play forced Picoes's goalkeeper Cristiano Leitão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jarbas Brás fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haraky Skorpion Ko's protests and gave Jarbas Brás a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Haraky Skorpion Ko's Jarbas Brás got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gualter Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ricardo Caiado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abel Carvalhais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Picoes's zone, Zarco Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Leitão came out of the goal and Zarco Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Picoes got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Vasques. Abel Carvalhais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Picoes defense, Jarbas Brás kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Leitão. The Picoes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Leitão should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Abel Carvalhais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haraky Skorpion Ko's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Carvalhais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Leitão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Abel Carvalhais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haraky Skorpion Ko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Gualter Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristiano Leitão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Carvalhais in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Matias Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cristiano Leitão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimiro Vasques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Caiado having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Picoes's zone, Abel Carvalhais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Leitão came out of the goal and Abel Carvalhais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zarco Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abel Carvalhais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haraky Skorpion Ko had won after a very even match.
