Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Veiga kicked off to start the match. José Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vítor Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAGRES SLB's Paulo Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Moura came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Murches FC's Artur Assis. But to his dismay, Artur Assis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Murches FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ricardo Fernandes hit a great ball. Delfim Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Fernandes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Lúcio Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rui Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play. Paulo Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Vítor Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAGRES SLB. Delfim Aguiar took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Gaspar. Vítor Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artur Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SAGRES SLB getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fernando Cruz hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Delfim Aguiar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Murches FC's Vítor Gaspar. Vítor Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Delfim Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Vítor Gaspar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Paulo Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Vítor Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAGRES SLB. 81 minutes into the match, Murches FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Veiga came free, but Vítor Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SAGRES SLB's Fernando Cruz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Joaquim Aleixo might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Aleixo ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vítor Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Assis scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SAGRES SLB played a much better game than Murches FC and deserved their victory. The Murches FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
