Armindo Trindade charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Trindade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCVilela getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Armindo Trindade hit a great ball. Pedro Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龙阳轩 having to interfere. FCVilela's 龙阳轩 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FCVilela from getting a goal against them. Fernando Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. 龙阳轩 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Heitor Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 龙阳轩. FCVilela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heitor Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Pedro Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Samouco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 龙阳轩 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Adelino Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Ferro in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, FCVilela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pinto to maneuver through the defense. SC Samouco's Adelino Lisboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Ferro in the 35th minute of play. FCVilela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Heitor Neves scored to the left of an out of position 龙阳轩, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Pedro Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Samouco's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 龙阳轩 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SC Samouco getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fernando Esteves hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armindo Trindade made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Daniel Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Samouco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Samouco's Pedro Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59thth minute of the game Heitor Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCVilela's 龙阳轩 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 龙阳轩 having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Heitor Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 龙阳轩 was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Pedro Brás left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Samouco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Ferro in the 91st minute of play forced SC Samouco's goalkeeper Adelino Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Samouco fully deserved thier win.
