Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afonso Reis got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Joaquim Leitão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute José Campos managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 13 minutes into the match, Regadia's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Reis came free, but Joaquim Leitão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Matoeira's António Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julião Monsanto in the 15th minute of play. Julião Monsanto struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. António Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Regadia. Fernando Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. António Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julião Monsanto, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Julião Monsanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Pinho having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, SC Matoeira's Afonso Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Leitão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Joaquim Leitão made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julião Monsanto made a kick off. SC Matoeira's António Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Matoeira from getting a goal against them. If Gregório Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 66 minutes on the clock, Domingos Furtado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Regadia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Gregório Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes, SC Matoeira's José Campos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquim Leitão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Matoeira reached it. Joaquim Leitão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Cassiano Moita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regadia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassiano Moita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Afonso Reis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquim Leitão was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Afonso Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
