Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Afonso Carvalho made the kick off which started today's match. If Afonso Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, SC Matoeira's goal looked a bit too open when João Abreu came free, but António Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Bento Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, SC Matoeira's Afonso Reis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Afonso Reis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vasco Castro to make any attempt to save it. Armando Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Castro having to interfere. José Campos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. António Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Afonso Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Matoeira's António Pinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Matoeira's zone, João Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Pinho came out of the goal and João Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Calendario getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Diogo Amorim hit a great ball. The supporters of Calendario booed when SC Matoeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but António Pinho made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Reis in the 70th minute of play forced Calendario's goalkeeper Vasco Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Dias during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, SC Matoeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Dias to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Armando Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Matoeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, João Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calendario's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Armando Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasco Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. SC Matoeira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
