Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hélder Lima started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, André Vilas Boas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ventoselas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saravigoes the free kick. Hélder Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bento Lousada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Bento Lousada managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Saravigoes's David Baptista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. David Baptista in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bento Lousada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th match minute, Ventoselas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Bento Lousada made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Baptista in the 15th minute. David Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Bento Lousada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Baptista struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Bento Lousada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saravigoes. 23 minutes into the game, Filipe Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bento Lousada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ventoselas FC booed when Saravigoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match, David Baptista got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bento Lousada was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hélder Lima struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bento Lousada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saravigoes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Lima in the 35th minute of play forced Ventoselas FC's goalkeeper Bento Lousada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Lousada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Lima's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Ventoselas FC's Valério Anjos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Hélder Lima struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Bento Lousada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saravigoes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Garcia to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Ventoselas FC's Francisco Nunes threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes into the match, Elias Garcia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saravigoes's Francisco Nunes. Francisco Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Elias Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 minutes, Filipe Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saravigoes and the Ventoselas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Saravigoes got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Paiva. 60 minutes into the match, Saravigoes's goalkeeper Francisco Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Freire. Francisco Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Saravigoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ventoselas FC's Bento Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Baptista in the 69th minute of play. If Guilherme Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Ventoselas FC's Francisco Nunes threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Elias Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Pedroso took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bento Lousada. Bento Lousada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Saravigoes were the better team. Saravigoes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
